Rob Gronkowski will reportedly miss only 1-2 weeks with knee injury
Gronk may be back spiking footballs sooner rather than later.
The Patriots’ tight end will only end up missing one to weeks after suffering a minor right knee injury against the Broncos on Sunday night, according to multiple reports on Monday.

Fans and teammates may have initially feared the All-Pro tight end suffered a potentially devastating injury after he was left writhing in pain on the ground at Mile High Stadium following a low hit from Broncos safety Darian Stewart in the fourth quarter of the Patriots’ 30-24 loss. After absorbing the hit while attempting to catch a pass from quarterback Tom Brady, Gronkowski was carted off the field with 2:49 remaining in the game. He did not return, but was seen walking without crutches in the locker room after the game.
Patriots head coach Bill Belichick did not provide an offical update on Gronkowski’s status during a conference call with reporters on Monday.
“We’re not even 24 hours after the game,’’ Belichick said. “I know everyone wants an instant analysis, but I think it’s more important to be right than to just jump in and start talking about a lot of stuff that’s inaccurate.’’
