Rob Gronkowski carted off field after injury against Broncos
New England Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski suffered a right knee injury against the Denver Broncos on Sunday night. Gronkowski was hit while attempting to catch a pass from Tom Brady with less than three minutes remaining in the fourth quarter.

After writhing in pain on the ground at snowy Mile High Stadium in Denver, Gronkowski was carted off the field. The Patriots led the Broncos, 21-17, at the time.

A short while later, the Patriots ruled him out for the remainder of the game.

Following the Patriots’ 30-24 overtime loss to the Broncos, Gronkowski was spottedby reporters standing at his locker.
“All our fingers are crossed,’’ Brady told reporters after the game when asked about Gronkowski.
Patriots head coach Bill Belichick did not have any update on Gronkowski’s status when addressing the media after the game.
Citing unnamed sources, both ESPN’s Adam Schefter and NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport reported that Gronkowski’s injury was not believed to be serious after the game. He also reported Monday morning there is no structural damage to the knee.
