The NFL’s appeal of the Deflategate decision won’t be held before Super Bowl 50 after all.

According to Reuters, the federal appeals court in New York handling the case will hear the league’s appeal March 3. The appeals court had said in late September that it might hear the NFL’s appeal of Berman’s ruling as early as February 1, a week before Super Bowl 50 on February 7.

U.S. District Court Judge Richard M. Berman vacated Patriots quarterback Tom Brady’s four-game suspension in September. The NFL announced it would appeal within hours of Berman’s decision September 3, “in order to uphold the collectively bargained responsibility to protect the integrity of the game.’’

The league filed its full appeal, which can be read here via Yahoo Sports, on October 26.
