Brock Osweiler will reportedly start for Broncos against Patriots
The 17th matchup between Peyton Manning and Tom Brady will have to wait.
Brock Osweiler will reportedly start for the Broncos during Week 12 against the New England Patriots, as reported by ESPN.com’s Chris Mortenson and the NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport.

Manning has missed one week with a torn plantar fascia, which he injured during the Broncos’ 29-13 loss to the Kansas City Chiefs on Nov. 15. The timetable of his return is unclear, but he reportedly wants to play during the 2016 season, even if it means playing for a team other than Denver. The Brady-Manning rivalry could also continue during this year’s playoffs.
In his first start in Week 11, a 17-15 win over the Chicago Bears, 25-year-old Osweiler was 20 of 27 for 250 yards and two touchdowns. On the season, Manning has 2,180 yards, nine touchdowns, and 17 interceptions.
