Runner trolls Tom Brady by juggling deflated footballs during New York City Marathon

It’s not the first time Barry Goldmeier has mocked the Patriots quarterback.

When Barry Goldmeier runs a marathon, it’s performance art.

The man referred to as “The Joggler,’’ according to The Baltimore Sun, runs marathons while juggling objects. During the New York City Marathon on Sunday, his objects of choice were deflated footballs. To complete the getup, he wore a Tom Brady jersey and mask.

With every step of the 26.2-mile race, it seemed the 51-year-old Maryland native was trolling the New England Patriots quarterback, who was at the center of Deflategate.

He’s serially trolled Brady, too — in at least five other marathons.

During races, Goldmeier has also juggled tennis rackets, mini-hockey sticks, and up to five beanbags. He’s worn jerseys of athletes like Ravens quarterback Joe Flacco, former Orioles shortstop Cal Ripken Jr. (while juggling 18-inch bats), and Cavaliers star LeBron James (while juggling basketballs).

“For me, it’s just a goofy hobby,’’ Goldmeier told The Sun before the Baltimore Marathon in October. “But I’ve been doing this for so long, I don’t know what I’d do without it.’’
