Tom Brady Sr. hopes his son can just keep the points coming.

Like many Patriots fans, the father of the team’s quarterback hopes the team can run up the score against the Colts on Sunday. The highly anticpated clash is a rematch of the most recent AFC Championship Game, the contest that sparked the months-long Deflategate scandal.

“The main thing I want is to see them win. As long as they have one point more than the Colts, I’m fine,’’ Brady Sr. told Gary Myers of the New York Daily News. “That being said, I’d like to see them put 60 points on the board, and love to see Tom throw for 500 yards and eight touchdowns. That’s me dreaming. That kind of comes from me.’’

In 2012, the Patriots put up 59 points against the Colts. Brady threw for 331 yards and three touchdowns in that game.

While the Patriots may have some extra motivation on Sunday, Brady Sr. says he always wants them to score that many points .

“I want to put 60 points on the board every game,’’ Brady Sr. added.
