Patriots rout Cowboys, 30-6, to remain undefeated
The Patriots picked up another win and a franchise record while in Dallas.
New England improved to 4-0 with a 30-6 win over the Cowboys at AT&T Stadium on Sunday. Quarterback Tom Brady threw for 275 yards and two touchdowns while adding his first rushing touchdown since 2012 as the Patriots established a new franchise record for points through four games (149).
“We’ve got to keep it going,’’ Brady told reporters after the win. “It’s a long season, we’re only four games into it.’’

With defensive end Greg Hardy and linebacker Rolando McClain back from four-game suspensions, the Cowboys’ defense sacked Brady five times in the first half and notched eight quarterback hits overall. The Patriots’ defense limited the Brandon Weeden-led Cowboys offense to just two field goals and 264 total yards.
Patriots wide receiver Julian Edelman tallied 120 receivng yards and a touchdown. Running backs Dion Lewis and LeGarrette Blount combined for 107 rushing yards. Lewis also added a receiving touchdown.
