After a dozen seasons with the team, the retired three-time Super Bowl winner was inducted into the Patriots Hall of Fame.

Willie McGinest was officially inducted in the the New England Patriots Hall of Fame on Wednesday. The two-time Pro Bowl linebacker was the first draft pick of the Robert Kraft era in 1994 and played with the team up through the 2005 season, wining three Super Bowls in the process.

During the induction ceremony Wednesday afternoon at Patriot Place, Kraft asked the former linebacker (who last played in the NFL in 2008 for the Cleveland Browns) to <a href=”

” class=””>sign a ceremonial contract with the Patriots, so he could officially retire with the organization.
