Who made the better catch, Martavis Bryant or Tom Brady?
The Steelers and Patriots are already in competition.
The two teams, which are slated to match up in the 2015 NFL season opener, have a pair of videos of awesome catches circulating the Internet. So if we can’t have the on-field matchup yet, then let the Internet competition commence.
After Tom Brady made a gorgeous one-handed catch on a pass from Julian Edelman, the Steelers posted a video of Martavis Bryant snatching a ball over cornerback Antwon Blake.
Brady’s play was an exhibition of surprising finesse from a notoriously clumsy-looking athlete. And Bryant’s grab was a beastly play for the towering, freakish athlete. Plus, Bryant made a play with a defender in tight coverage — Brady was wide-open. But again, it’s Brady, the guy whose “jukes’’ are headline-worthy.
