Rob Gronkowski on his own book: ‘I only read like 80 percent of it’

Seriously though, someone tell Dunkin’ Donuts that Gronk is cheating on them with Starbucks. Cindy Ord/Getty Images for SiriusXM

You might want to sit down for this one: apparently, Rob Gronkowski is not much of a reader.

In an SiriusXM radio interview with Maria Menounos, Gronkowski was asked whether he had read his book “It’s Good To Be Gronk,’’ which the New England Patriots tight end co-authored.

“I only read like 80 percent of it,’’ Gronkowski answered, intermittently sipping what certainly appears to be a Starbucks Frappucino (you have to wonder what Dunkin’ Donuts, with which Gronkowski has anendorsement deal, has to say about that).

It’s Good To Be Gronk, also co-written by Jason Rosenhaus, was released July 14.

“I’m not gonna lie about it,’’ Gronkowski said. “That’s what the book is; it’s all truthful in there. It’s not no sugar coat or anything, so, to make my image look good or there ain’t no false images in there. So I ain’t gonna lie, I only read like 80 percent of it.’’

Of course, Gronkowski couldn’t speak for what the other 20 percent of the book contains.
