Gronk’s ‘Celebrity Family Feud’ loss was everything you expected

Anyone who has been following this latest Summer of Gronk should have had a pretty good idea of what to expect from the Gronkowski boys on Celebrity Family Feud : dancing, stilted line delivery and a question about Deflategate.

And they got exactly that.

Team Gronk — the Patriots’ tight end was joined by his father, Gordie, and brothers, Chris, Dan and Gordie Jr. — faced off against the Robinson Peete family — led actress Holly Robinson Peete and her husband, former NFL quarterback Rodney Peete — in an episode that aired Sunday. New England’s favorite partier deferred the opening category, “name something that can be inflated or deflated,’’ in the toss-up, but his team stole back the topic.

“I don’t even want this one,’’ Rob quipped.

After the strong start, the Gronks stalled in their next few opportunities, with brother Chris providing the probable lowlight (or highlight, depending on your allegiance) with his answer to the category ‘If you were a bear, what might we see you do in the woods?’

The Gronks were in line for the win until the end, when in true Patriots fashion they were bested on a longshot play.
