NFL commissioner Roger Goodell presided over Brady’s appeal in June and will make a decision on whether to uphold, reduce, or eliminate the Patriots quarterback’s four-game suspension. Brady was implicated in the Ted Wells report after Wells completed his investigation into whether or not the Patriots deliberately deflated footballs below league minimum air pressure levels in the AFC Championship Game.

“Based on the evidence, we also have concluded that it is more probable than not that Tom Brady was at least generally aware of the inappropriate activities of [Patriots locker room attendant Jim] McNally and [Patriots equipment assistant John] Jastremski involving the release of air from Patriots game balls,’’ the Wells report stated. “We believe it is unlikely that an equipment assistant and a locker room attendant would deflate game balls without Brady’s knowledge and approval.’’

The Patriots were fined $1 million and docked a 2016 first-round pick and 2017 fourth-round pick, punishments they declined to appeal. Team owner Robert Kraft was spotted with Goodell Thursday in Sun Valley.
