Colts hang banner celebrating… 4th place?
Good job, good effort

Andrew Luck and the Colts may have been blown out by the Patriots in the AFC title game, but they got a shiny, new banner for their efforts.
The banner celebrating the Patriots’ 16-0 regular season that hangs in Gillette Stadium has met its match… In Indianapolis.
With Colts mini-camp underway this week, WRTV-6 sports director Dave Furst snapped the following photo on Wednesday that shows the newest addition to the rafters at Lucas Oil Stadium.

For context, Furst later Tweeted that the Colts hanging banners to celebrate trips to the NFL’s Final Four isn’t a new occurrence, as fellow AFC Finalist banners mark the Colts’ 1995 and 2003 conference title game appearances.

Patriots fans can’t make too much fun of it though, as the aforementioned 16-0 banner displayed in Foxborough remains a constant reminder that while the 2007 regular season was nice, it was their team who came out on the losing end of one of the biggest upsets in Super Bowl history.
