No, Bill Belichick isn’t planning to see ‘Entourage’ anytime soon
Bill Belichick was all business after the Patriots wrapped up their sixth OTA practice session at Gillette Stadium, but that didn’t stop the media from trying to lighten his mood.
Near the end of his brief Q&A session on Thursday, Belichick was asked if he was planning on seeing Patriots players Tom Brady and Rob Gronkowski who both make cameos in the movie “Entourage’’ that opened in theaters this week.
“Right now, we’ll go watch movies of practice,’’ Belichick said.
As far as practice goes, Belichick summed up what he’s seen so far.
“Six practices, I think we’re getting a little bit better each day, just try to keep building on our base and a good foundation,’’ Belichick said. “We have a lot of guys working different positions, different groups. It’s not really about that. It’s about everybody getting an opportunity to learn what’s going on and execute it and us trying to build our overall system, which we’ll continue to do that next week. It’s a four-day week, so hopefully we’re ready to build into that and just keep pushing ahead.’’
Belichick was asked about the importance of getting down the X’s and O’s, as well as building chemistry between the position groups.
“Everything we do out here is important,’’ Belichick said. “Otherwise, we wouldn’t do it, or we should be doing something else. We try to take the things that we feel are most beneficial and put together a practice schedule so that we can get the best utilization of the limited amount of time we have out here. We have a lot of people and we’re just trying to make the most out of it. Everything we do is important, or we should be doing something else.’’
