Rob Gronkowski’s drink of choice might not be what you think.

In an interview with DuJour magazine, the New England Patriots tight end explained his drinking strategy and defended his right to party.

“People act like dancing is breaking the law and partying is a crime,’’ said Gronkowski. “Everyone thinks I’m in trouble 24/7, but what have I really done besides dance?’’

“There’s definitely a time to party and a time to focus on work, but you need to let loose a little bit so that you can go back on Monday feeling refreshed and motivated to work hard again,’’ he said.

In the interview titled “It’s Great to be Gronk,’’ he explained his partying ways to DuJour at a Miami steakhouse, also admitting that he usually doesn’t cut his steak before eating it.

“My drink is usually vodka with water because it gets you hydrated and drunk at the same time,’’ said Gronkowski. “I never drink wine. There’s only one wine I like, but I forget what it’s called. It tastes like Sprite.’’

While we search for the Sprite-wine, read the full interview over at DuJour. It is very Gronk.
