‘Free Tom Brady’ rally planned for Sunday at Gillette Stadium

Patriots Nation is not taking the suspension of Tom Brady sitting down — or quietly.

A “Free Tom Brady’’ rally is planned for Sunday at Gillette Stadium to protest the four-game suspension levied against the quarterback for his role in the Deflategate scandal, reports The Associated Press. A Facebook page promoting the event says it will be a “a peaceful rally to protest the unjust football arrest of half God half man Tom Brady’’ from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Brady was suspended by the NFL for the first four games of the 2015 NFL season after the Wells report on the Deflategate scandal determined he was “at least generally aware’’ that two team employees likely let air out of game balls before the AFC Championship Game.

Brady has formally appealed the suspension. His fans have not been shy about expressing their own disapproval.
