Robert Kraft says he only cares about the fans
Patriots owner Robert Kraft has a message for the team’s fans.
Kraft did his best on Wednesday to try to assuage the anger and disappointment felt by Pats fans who feel he gave in the the NFL too easily on Deflategate when he announced he’d drop any fight against the league in response to punishments levied against the Pats.
“I only care about our fans,’’ Kraft said from the league owners meetings in San Francisco. “I did my part to be a good partner, I think. The most important thing to me is that the fans of the New England Patriots know that I’m always trying to look out for our team’s best interest and I think this was in the best long-term interest of our team.’’
