The NFL finally dropped the hammer on Tom Brady and the Patriots.

Less than four months after the initial report the Patriots were being investigated for using intentionally underinflated footballs in the AFC Championship game against the Indianapolis Colts, the league announced Brady would be suspended four games for his role in what came to be known as “Deflategate.’’ The team was hit with a $1 million fine and will forfeit its first-round draft pick in 2016 and a fourth-round selection in 2017.
