Watch fans weigh in on Tom Brady’s Salem State appearance
SALEM – Patriots jerseys dotted the crowd that came out to see Tom Brady at Salem State University on Thursday night. While fans in attendance broke into chants of “Brady! Brady!’’ during the event, they had mixed opinions afterward.
Just thirty hours earlier, the NFL released a report saying Brady was probably “at least generally aware’’ of alleged tampering with game balls. Interviewer Jim Gray prodded Brady on the subject for the first ten minutes, at least, of the hour-long event. Brady told Gray needed more time to digest the report and would issue a statement soon.
