Should the Patriots keep their 2015 Super Bowl title?

That’s the question the Today show posed to its viewers Thursday morning after the NFL’s Wells Report stated it was “more probable than not’’ that Patriots team personnel intentionally circumvented league rules.

You won’t likely find many people in New England who think the Patriots should face such a major punishment for deflating footballs, and even the team’s detractors elsewhere might find that a little harsh. But it apparently seemed appropriate to many folks who watch Today.

As of airtime, 73 percent of viewers surveyed on today.com thought the Patriots shouldn’t be allowed to keep their title.
