Tom Brady’s Dad Slams ‘Framegate,’ Defends Son
Tom Brady, Sr. is defending his son following the release of the Deflategate report on Wednesday.
In an interview with USA Today Sports, the father of the Patriots’ quarterback referred to the scandal as “Framegate.’’ The comments came shortly after NFL-appointed investigator Ted Wells submitted a 243-page report stating that Patriots’ team staffers likely took part in an attempt to circumvent league rules regarding football inflation in the AFC Championship Game. The report also stated that Brady was probably “at least generally aware’’ of the actions of team personnel.
“I don’t have any doubt about my son’s integrity — not one bit,’’ Tom Brady Sr. said on Wednesday.
