Vince Wilfork is going to the Texans.

The former Patriot, who played 11 seasons with the franchise that drafted him in 2004, took to Twitter Monday to once again thank the Patriots and announce he’s headed to Houston.

Wilfork joins an intriguing defensive front that includes all-universe defensive end J.J. Watt and the number one pick in the 2014 draft, pass rusher Jadeveon Clowney. The Patriots are left with Sealver Siliga and Alan Branch likely to fill Wilfork’s shoes as the nose tackle on defense.

The Patriots thanked Wilfork for his years of excellence both via a statement from coach Bill Belichick and with a tribute on the official team Instagram account.
