Richard Sherman Wants You to Know Darrelle Revis Gave Up a Touchdown
Seahawks cornerback Richard Sherman declined to debate whether he or Darrelle Revis was the better player leading up to Super Bowl XLIX.
With the Seahawks taking a 10-point lead on Doug Baldwin’s touchdown catch in the third quarter, Sherman was comfortable enough to find a camera and make sure everyone knew who was responsible for covering Baldwin.

Revis was picked by the referee on the play, which allowed Baldwin to get separation in the end zone. The play was more bad luck than anything. It’s not the ref’s job to get out of the way in that situation.
