Brandon LaFell Does his Job and Patriots Take 7-0 Super Bowl Lead

Brandon LaFell is doing his job.

The New England Patriots opened the scoring in Super Bowl XLIX when quarterback Tom Brady connected with LaFell on a 11-yard touchdown pass in the second quarter.

The scoring play capped a nine-play drive and staked the Patriots to a 7-0 lead over the Seattle Seahawks.

On the Patriots’ previous drive, Brady threw an interception that derailed a promising drive. He bounced back by completing of five of seven pass attempts on the touchdown drive, including the scoring dart to LaFell.
