Marijuana Charge Dropped Against LeGarrette Blount

Patriots’ running back LeGarrette Blount received good news Friday as he gets set for his first Super Bowl.

Prosecutors in Pittsburgh have dropped a marijuana possession charge against Blount after he performed 50 hours of community service. Blount and his then-teammate Le’Veon Bell were arrested in August when police found marijuana in the car they were in.

Blount worked with the Urban Achievers of Boston to meet his community service requirements in time for his February 4th court date. Blount will no longer need to appear in court.

Blount has had his fair share of off-field incidents in his college and professional career, but the Patriots seem to be the one team that knows how to keep him out of trouble.
