Fire Alarm Goes Off Again at Patriots Hotel

The Patriots might be a little groggy at practice this week after a pair of early morning fire alarm incidents. AP

The fire alarm went off at the Patriots’ hotel early Thursday morning, a hotel source told Boston.com.

The alarm went off at 4:40 a.m. It was the second time the fire alarm went off in the last 3 days, having done so at 1:30 a.m. Tuesday morning.

Is it a simple coincidence, or is someone at the hotel trying to sabotage the sleeping habits of Patriots’ players and coaches? Even if it was sabotage, it might not have worked.

Remember, this is the same hotel the Giants stayed at when they beat the 18-0 Patriots in 2008. Seven years later, the Patriots are trying to reverse their luck in Glendale.

ESPN’s Sal Paolantonio reported that the Patriots were upset with the situation and that officials at the hotel apologized to the team and were reviewing the situation.
