If Gronk Wasn’t a Football Player, He’d be a Stripper
Rob Gronkowski says if he weren’t busy shredding NFL defenses as the league’s best tight end, he’d make his living as a stripper.
Is anyone even remotely surprised?
When Patriots.com asked members of the team what they’d be if not a football player, most of the answers were simple enough. Jonas Gray said he’d be a lawyer. Malcolm Butler and Alfonzo Dennard would go into coaching. Brian Tyms would be an FBI agent.
Sure, Julian Edelman’s “human cannonball’’ fallback plan was a little out there. Shane Vereen’s Plan B as an astronaut was definitely unique. But then Gronk had to hijack the entire exercise with his unfiltered, unsurprising, and unbeatable answer.
To recycle an old Boston sports saying, it’s just Gronk being Gronk.
Will Gronk ever let loose and experiment with his choice for a second income? It’d certainly give new meaning to the phrase “A Gronking to Remember.’’
