Hightower Highlights Patriots’ Sunday Night Inactives List

The Patriots defense will be a little but weaker against the San Diego Chargers on Sunday Night Football.

Linebacker Dont’a Hightower, who is having an All-Pro caliber season, was listed among the Pats’ inactives. Hightower appeared to injure his shoulder in last week’s loss to the Green Bay Packers and although he missed just one snap in that game, he was limited in practice all week and listed as questionable on Friday’s injury report.

Chandler Jones, who has been back at practice for the Pats since Thanksgiving week, also remains sidelined. That makes seven weeks since he last saw game action since injuring his hip against the Jets in Week 7.

Also inactive for the Pats will be offensive linemen Cameron Fleming and Jordan Devey, cornerback Alfonzo Dennard, running back James White and linebacker/special teamer Chris White.
