Washington NFL Team Continues to Struggle for Self-Awareness
This Thanksgiving, the Washington NFL team wanted to wish everyone warm holiday greetings in the most ironic way possible.
The Redskins, embroiled in a scandalous debate over the legitimacy of their nickname and whether or not it constitutes a racial slur or not for some time, sent out the following tweet on Thursday morning.

Apparently, not a single person in the organization who has anything to do with social media thought twice about what this particular image and message looks like or means. And some of the responses were as predicatble as it gets.
