Spiffy Robert Kraft Edition Nike Sneakers Sell Out Quickly
Robert Kraft has made headlines with his shoe game in the past, but on Sunday, the Patriots owner took to Gillette Stadium with some new kicks that generated a bit of buzz.
During his team’s 34-9 win over the Detroit Lions in Foxborough, Kraft, along with Bill Belichick and other Patriots coaches, showcased some sneakers that were made available to the public at the team store at 10 a.m. on Monday morning. The shoes sold out at 10:01 a.m., according to a report.

The sneakers are limited-edition Nike Lunar Force 1’s, styled as the Patriots’ take on the Air Force 1’s that Kraft has been seen wearing on game days, according to Briana Palma of Patriots.com. Pretty fly for an owner who carries a flip phone.

Kraft’s footwear has previously included the matching diamond-encrusted Air Force 1’s he and Ty Law wore during Law’s Patriots Hall of Fame induction ceremony earlier this year.
The sneakers retail at $150, with all of the proceeds going to the Boys & Girls Clubs of Boston.
