FOXBOROUGH, Mass. — There’s a big-name player absent from the New England Patriots’ practice field, but several other players are on the mend.

The latest addition to the injury report is defensive end Chandler Jones (hip), who did not participate in practice on Wednesday. This comes on the heels of a report that Jones will miss the next month.

The news on the injury front wasn’t all bad, however. Center Bryan Stork (concussion) and offensive lineman Dan Connolly (concussion) were both held out of practice all week leading up to the Patriots’ Thursday night game against the Jets, but both men returned to practice this week as limited participants.

Defensive lineman Dominique Easley (shoulder/knee), safety Nate Ebner (finger), offensive lineman Cameron Fleming (finger), and wide receiver Matthew Slater (shoulder) were the other limited participants.

In other positive news out of practice, quarterback Tom Brady (ankle), cornerback Brandon Browner (ankle), linebacker Jamie Collins (thigh), linebacker Dont’a Hightower (knee), and safety Devin McCourty (rib) were all listed as full participants in practice. All five players had been limited in practice last week.
