Geno Smith is tended to by Jets training staff after the Jets quarterback appeared to injure his knee on Thursday. It would turn out to just be a scare, however, as he would jog of the field and return to the game after sitting out just one play.

Julian Edelman got airborne as he leapt to try and get the Patriots a first down. He was spun around in their air by Jets defensive backs Calvin Prior and Kyle Wilson, but got enough to give the Pats a fresh set of downs.

Jets running back Chris Ivory dives into the end zone for a touchdown in the third quarter that gave the Jets a 19-17 lead in the opening minutes of the third quarter. Ivory rushed for 107 yards on 21 carries in the game, while the Jets as a team ran for 218 yards in total.

Ty Law, the newest member of the Patriots Hall of Fame, acknowledges the crowd as he is recognized during halftime of Thursday’s game. Law won three Super Bowl rings with the Patriots in his 10 seasons in New England.

Rob Gronkowski evades a Jets tackle to pick up extra yardage. The Patriots tight end caught 5 passes for 68 yards in the game while showing the physicality that has made him one of the most dangerous weapons in the NFL.

Shane Vereen leaps to make a catch on a 49-yard touchdown grab in the first quarter. The Patriots running back had five catches for 71 yards and two touchdowns, while also rushing 11 times for 43 yards on the ground.
