Patriots sign OL Derek Dennis
The Patriots have signed Derek Dennis, a 6-foot-5-inch, 316-pound offensive lineman out of Temple.
Dennis is expected to join the team in a couple of days. Patriots coach Bill Belichick was asked what he liked about Dennis and didn’t say much.
“We can give him an opportunity,” said Belichick.
The 24-year-old Dennis was originally was signed by the Miami Dolphins as a rookie free agent out of Temple on May 4. He was released by Miami on July 26. He started all 13 games last season at left guard for Temple.
