Carter: Surgery was ‘great procedure’
The Patriots, of course, are notoriously vague when it comes to the details of a player’s injury and status.
But defensive end Andre Carter, who suffered a season-ending quad injury during Sunday’s victory over the Broncos, didn’t mind sharing some funny particulars after his surgery today:
Wrote Carter a little before 4 p.m. on his Twitter account, @mr_carter93:
God is good. A great procedure. In my dreams, during the procedure, I was in a family band. My wife was playing the cow bell, Quincy [his son] was playing the drums, my daughter was singing, and I was playing bass.
Earlier yesterday, before being wheeled into the operating room, Carter tweeted, “Make sure it’s the correct leg please,” with a photo of the word “yes” written on his left quad.
