When big names are in town, it’s not surprising to see them at Nick Varano’s Strega in the North End (Kenny Chesney singalong anyone?) and even less surprising to see them with David Ledbury, whose Instagram is full of him hosting stars from Ice Spice to Connor McDavid.

On Wednesday, it was two-time NBA MVP Stephen Curry who dropped by, with his Warriors in Boston to face the Celtics at TD Garden. (The C’s came out on top with a 120-99 win; Curry has been out of the lineup with a knee injury.)

“Always a pleasure having our longtime friend and NBA star Stephen Curry stop by Strega North End!” the restaurant posted on Instagram. “Where championship energy meets Italian indulgence.”
