Here’s NBA 2K18’s one-word response to its Kyrie Irving-Cavaliers cover

After news broke Tuesday night that the Cavaliers sent NBA 2K18 cover athlete Kyrie Irving to the Celtics, the video game’s Twitter account had a one-word reaction: “Whoops.”

The Irving cover was already featured on the game’s website:

In exchange, the Celtics sent Isaiah Thomas, Jae Crowder, Ante Zizic, and the Nets’ 2018 first-round pick to the Cavs.
With the game available by preorder September 15, it wasn’t immediately clear which jersey Irving will be wearing on the cover in less than a month.
