A somber Kevin Garnett remembers Craig Sager

On Thursday night, with news of Sager’s passing earlier in the day, an emotional Garnett remembered Sager on TNT with fellow NBA great Chris Webber.
“Tough day today, lost a great one,” Garnett began.

After meeting Sager when he got drafted in 1995, Garnett said the two developed a “great rapport” over the years. On Thursday, Garnett celebrated Sager for his innovation and called him the “epitome” of his profession.
“He was his own thing, he was his own flair,” Garnett said.
Also on Thursday, Garnett, Shaquille O’Neal, Charles Barkley, and Kenny Smith recalled their favorite Sager fashion stories on TNT.
