Paul Pierce will reportedly return for another season
Pierce will be 39 in October.
Paul Pierce isn’t done.
Paul Pierce is planning on returning to the Clippers for the 2016-17 season, his 19th in the NBA, per source.

Pierce, who signed with the Clippers to reunite with former Celtics coach Doc Rivers, averaged career lows last year in a limited role, playing just 18 minutes a game and averaging 6.1 points.
As recently as the 2014 playoffs, however, he showed he could still contribute by averaging 14.6 points with the Wizards and hitting one of his patented game-winning shots against the Hawks in the first round.
While many Celtics fans have hoped the Celtics would bring the 2008 Finals MVP back to finish his career, it looks like his choices are either Clippers or retirement, barring a trade: he signed a 3-year, $10 million deal before last season.
