Tom Brady and Eli Manning’s jersey banter: It might not be Patriots fans’ favorite period of the Tom Brady-Bill Belichick dynasty, but the only quarterback to defeat the duo in multiple Super Bowls will forever be Eli Manning.

The former Giants quarterback has generally found it amusing to periodically remind Brady of the two Super Bowl losses, with Brady — who despite the defeats managed to win seven titles — humorously bantering back in response. The pattern recently repeated during a jersey signing.

Shared by Fanatics, Brady was seen signing a Manning Giants jersey. After seeing the jersey of his former rival, Brady paused and looked up at the presenter before signing his name with the blunt “[expletive] off” message accompanying it.

“Beautiful,” Manning laughed upon seeing Brady’s writing. Tasked with also signing the jersey, Manning eventually settled on a message of his own.

“Good game,” he wrote as another joke.

Both former quarterbacks will once again share a similar career this fall when Manning and Brady are both commentating on NFL games. Manning will once again be alongside his brother, Peyton, as part of ESPN’s “ManningCast” slate of games.

Brady, meanwhile, will make his full television broadcast debut as part of the Fox lineup of games.

Trivia: Eli Manning beat Tom Brady and the Patriots twice during the Giants’ run to two Super Bowl wins at the end of the 2007 and 2011 seasons. What was the other team New York beat multiple times during those to title runs?

Red Sox-Rockies highlights: If you missed Monday night’s game, it was one of the more dramatic played this season.

On this day: In 2002, Nomar Garciaparra celebrated his 29th birthday by hitting three home runs in a 22-4 pummeling of the then-Devil Rays. Boston would however lose the second game of the doubleheader, 5-4.

Daily highlight: The Red Sox lost in the end, but Ceddanne Rafaela once again showed his ability to make a tremendous play on Monday night.

Trivia answer: The Green Bay Packers
