In undoubtedly the worst start of his career, Lester kicked off his team’s afternoon contest against the Pittsburgh Pirates by giving up 10 runs.

The Pirates managed to make it through their entire batting lineup, as they rattled off three singles, a double, a home run, and a grand slam. Lester also walked three batters and gave up a sacrifice bunt.
