President Obama stayed up late to watch the Cubs win, invite them to the White House
"Want to come to the White House before I leave?"
President Barack Obama couldn’t go to bed, either.
Obama congratulated the Chicago Cubs on their World Series win early Thursday morning with a tweet that reflected his ties to the city and his sports fandom.
It happened: @Cubs win World Series. That’s change even this South Sider can believe in. Want to come to the White House before I leave?

Obama is a professed White Sox fan, but he clearly has a soft spot in his heart for the Cubs breaking an 108-year drought.
