Tim McKone will be the full-time third voice on “Zolak and Bertrand,” 98.5 The Sports Hub’s midday show.

The highly-rated program, featuring hosts Marc Bertrand and Scott Zolak, had been using a rotation in the third spot since Rob “Hardy” Poole left to co-host the station’s morning show with Fred Toucher at the start of January.

McKone should be familiar to Sports Hub listeners. He noted when his new role was announced on air early Monday afternoon that he has been filling in on various Sports Hub programs, including “Zolak and Bertrand,’’ for several years.

“So this is my favorite show,’’ he added, before joking, “top-three favorite show.”
