A player went over the fence to make a spectacular catch in Cape Cod’s baseball league

The Red Sox’ Jackie Bradley Jr. wasn’t the only center-fielder making jaw-dropping plays in the outfield this weekend.

On Sunday night, Andy Atwood of the Bourne Braves robbed Shea Langeliers of the Chatham Anglers of a home run in a Cape Cod Baseball League game.

And he did it in quite dramatic fashion.

After Langeliers blasted a pitch that was surely headed over the fence, Atwood reached up to make a leaping grab that sent himself over the fence in the process. As the announcer and crowd waited in suspense to see if the 20-year-old actually made the catch, Atwood popped up from behind the fence and hoisted his glove up with ball in hand — leading the umpire to call Langeliers out.
