A local police department took a jab at NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell Sunday night by announcing it would investigate the “unexpected deflation” of Goodell’s ego following the Patriots’ stunning Super Bowl win. The Dartmouth Police Department said Monday that the “independent investigation” underway is being called “Deflategate Two.”“Though the investigation is still in its early stages, it was reported that a very happy and smiling Tom BRADY was in close proximity to GOODELL when the incident took place,” the department wrote on Facebook.

Dartmouth wasn’t the only New England law enforcement agency that reflected the sentiments of Patriots fans everywhere on its social media channels. The Boston Police Department tweeted: “See you in New England Mr. Goodell.” And state police also took to Twitter to proclaim: “, they did it!”
