Here’s Fabolous partying with David Ortiz last night in the Seaport District
Rapper Fabolous partied with David Ortiz Friday night at an event celebrating the Red Sox legend in the Seaport District.
The event, held at the Empire Restaurant and Lounge, was billed as “an evening dedicated to honoring David Ortiz,” according to the Associated Press.
“The reason why I ain’t going nowhere is because my heart is buried in the middle of this town right here,” Ortiz told the crowd before Fabolous performed. “Boston has been so unbelievable to me.”

JetBlue, one of the event’s sponsors, also announced that the airline is renaming Gate 34 at Logan Airport’s Terminal C in Ortiz’s honor.
