Mike Vrabel’s son verbally commits to BC

Tyler Vrabel, son of long-time Patriots linebacker Mike Vrabel, has verbally committed to play football at Boston College.

Tyler Vrabel, the son of long-time Patriots linebacker Mike Vrabel, verbally committed to play at Boston College.

The younger Vrabel, a 6-foot-4-inch, 255-pounder, plays left tackle at St. Pius X in Houston.

He received offers from the University of Houston, Cincinnati, and Toldeo before chosing to play for the Eagles next season, announcing his decision on a Twitter post.

Mike Vrabel, who played in four Super Bowls for the Patriots during his 14-year career, became the Texans’ defensive coordinator after last season.
