Fenway Park submits bid to host Army-Navy football game in 2018

The Army-Navy football game might be coming to Fenway Park in 2018.

Fenway Sports Management submitted a formal bid to host the game, which will be the 119th meeting in the series.

Navy athletics director Chet Gladchuk told the Baltimore Sun that the New York Yankees also submitted a bid to host the game at Yankee Stadium. The Sun also reported that the homes of the NFL’s Giants/Jets, Patriots, Ravens, and Redskins “are also in the mix” to host Army-Navy in the next set of games when a new contract is awarded.
