Duquesne basketball hits improbable one-handed shot against UMass, wins by 30
It was that kind of night.
Sometimes it fees like you really just cannot catch a break.
Just ask the UMass men’s basketball team after Wednesday night’s 96-66 loss at Duquesne University. In addition to winning by 30, the Dukes shot 14-26 from three-point range, including this improvised 40-foot halftime buzzer-beater by guard Mike Lewis II.

To add insult to insult, Lewis — who finished the blowout with 31 points — made the steal and shot just seconds after he had banked in a layup, giving him five points within seven seconds to end the half.
As the Duquesne announcers predicted during the game, it was indeed a SportsCenter Top 10 play.
