NESN posted, and eventually deleted, a video of a Red Sox coach arguing with an Angels player before Wednesday’s series finale.

According to The Boston Globe‘s Tim Healey, Red Sox first base coach Jose Flores got in a shouting match with Angels pitcher Tyler Anderson.

According to WEEI’s Rob Bradford, Anderson started the incident. The Angels thought the Red Sox were stealing signs and Anderson started yelling at Flores about it, according to the report.

In the video, Flores and Anderson are seen jawing and pointing at each other. Anderson continues to talk as Flores walks away, and Flores turns back to point at Anderson again before picking up a bat. Angels pitching coach Barry Enright came over to Flores and the pair exchanged words.

The coaches were eventually separated before things escalated. No punches were thrown. Anderson is shown talking with Red Sox manager Alex Cora at the end of the video.

The Red Sox entered Wednesday’s game coming off of back-to-back home losses to the Angels. Anderson, who started the Angels’ 7-6 victory on Monday, gave up 5 earned runs in 4 1/3 innings of work.
