J.D. Martinez removed in fifth because of dehydration

Red Sox designated hitter J.D. Martinez was removed in the fifth inning of Tuesday night’s game against the Philadelphia Phillies because of dehydration, the team announced.

Martinez was 1 for 2 with an RBI double down the left-field line in the third inning.
